The  Fat Quarter Shop Project Remix A scarf in the Summer! Yes! It is super soft, lightweight, and brings color to your day! Tutorial by Crystal of Hello Creative Family  30 Minute Infinity Scarf I am doing a one month challenge of only using Sewtites  (No pins or clips) and they worked perfect sewing the end together! The pattern is great for beginners and does not take very long to complete! It only took me 30 minutes to complete. The Fabric Pick a fabric you think is gorgeous,  that you don’t want to cut all up and sew back together.   It is perfect and stands out all on its own! I bought this fabric over 2 years ago second hand.   I knew it was vintage and prewashed.   It is a vintage lawn that we figured out.   Who made it nothing positive. Looks like, feels like, but couldn’t find it in a database of Liberty. It is 2 beautiful yards of Vintage Lawn and so soft! My goal for April was to create something out of this awesome fabric! The fabric reminds me of the Russian Olympics (lots of pizzaz) and beautiful colors! Well I completed my goal and just got it back from the quilter, my wonderful friend, Irene Hensley, (love the hearts), my only problem is it is not ready to be revealed. So, here is a corner to prove I made the goal. I did make something of the fabric and soon all shall be revealed. Second item I completed this month was making Zoey an Easter dress. If you want an easy pattern that turns out beautiful I highly recommend the Cottage Mama Party Dress and it is a FREE pattern. Read my post here for more details . I love April Showers fabric but now I just need to make her one for May Flowers! Got any suggestions? About this time was when everything went crazy - both kids got sick, I threw out my back, and I got sick. I had so much to do! Flat on my back and miserable. I even threw a pity party (terrible right)! First rule

At the end of last month Rebecca @ making rebecca lynne announced the release of her pattern with a giveaway. Well I did not win one, I bought one, and I made one. As you will see below and I love it. The fabric I used is Kona Modern Quilts, Merlot Colorstory, by Cynthia Frenette, that I bought from Craftsy! They have great deals on fabric and yarn everyday! Sign up for the deals to be sent to your inbox daily on CRAFTSY I am no model that is for sure but I am doing the Pin it! Sew it! @ Pile O' Fabric and I have to post a picture on Pinterest to show I completed my pin it, sew it. So, everyone will see my smiling mug. But it is me, this is who I am, I do love the crop feature in photo editor so at least your not looking at me in my sweat pants. Or see me standing on a hill in my yard, just me and my Infinity Scarf. If you like scarves this is a nice, inexpensive, and easy to one to make! Thank you Rebecca! Everyone : I found the directions in the pattern easy to follow
