Merry Christmas
As I await the arrival of of my daughters and grandchildren for Christmas I am grateful that all of them are in good health considering the year they have had!  Both girl have suffered losses in jobs, cars, and homes! It could have been much worse and I pray that 2019 will be a much better year! Everything lost can be replaced but they cannot!
I pray that your holidays are filled with love and laughter!

If you find in the New Year you can afford to help Ashley and the girls recover from the fire that destroyed everything please give to the Go Fund Me page I setup!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or just good thoughts to you and your family! I appreciate each and every follower of In The Boon Docks for sticking with me during 2015! First my husbands and then my youngest daughters illnesses left the blog without a blogger for stretches at a time. Thank you so much for still being here when I came back! Hopefully, 2016 will be healthy and fun for us all! I really love participating in the Farmer's Wife 1930s sew along, blog hops, and giveaways. 2016 will see lots of activity! My husband and I look forward to Christmas with our children and grandchildren. Have a safe holidays! See you soon! Love LisaCreate and be unique - Lisa

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

from There is something about Christmas
that always makes me grateful
for the people in my life!

That includes all of you in Blogland!
Since my husband has been ill
so many of you have stepped up
and filled my obligations,
sent me sweet gifts, and even food!
The readers keep reading even when
I don't have much content to post!
You all know who you are
and you each have lightened
my load this holiday season!
Thank you all so much!
Life is better on this planet because of you.

I won two hats and a Santa pattern from the SMS Giveaways and I will have to thank them later but the little boy hat went to David's 4th grade teachers son and Zoey has claimed the Anna hat! As you can see it is getting well used and loved! If you ladies are reading thank you! I have great plans for 2015
and I hope you will join me in the new year!
Thank you all for a fabulous year!
Create and be yourself,
Lisa

Merry Christmas and a winner

My favorite designer is Jinny Beyer. I have purchased many of her patterns and fabrics over the years. I am not familiar with many of the others on the list of designers you provided... Now is a good opportunity to get to know them as well! Thank you.

I will contact you tonight! 7 spools of Aurifil! Merry Christmas!

Spending all my free time the last couple weeks working on Christmas presents left little time for anything else. It was our Granddaughters first so I wanted to make her a little quilt. First I hand stitched the blocks on the panel (Stitch on Prints - December)

Then free motion quilting the quilt. I keep practicing but I am afraid I need lots more. I admire all you folks who have learned this skill. 2014 will be the year of the challenge in FMQ for me.
