ALYOF November Goal

Image
Life is amazing, no matter how much preplanning I do lately things just are not getting done. I decided I would post them anyways here for the record! I was going to enter this Flowering Snowball mini quilt into
Amy's Creative Side Blogger's Quilt Festival Fall 2014
I went out two weeks ago and took some beautiful photos! I completed my ALYOF October Goal for
Sew BitterSweet Designs
and again missed the deadline!
But I did make the deadline for
World Book Media
who took it to Quilt Market
(yes, first time, very exciting, want to do it again)!

I made this cute little fabric basket for David's sweet 4th grade teacher! I admire men and women who can teach a room full of 9 and10 years old!
For I think I would go Buggers (hi, Lucy)! One is enough for me!
Since grossing me out lately is his entertainment.

So for November I am going to try and get my self together and meet my next deadline! The IG Mini Swap! I have it narrowed down to these two patterns! I just got my rulers and patt…

Hi Everyone, I apologize for being late! It has been a rough week here
In The Boon Docks!

Better late than never!

I am so happy to participate and appreciate all the work our cheerleaders put into planning it! Thank you ladies, you are wonderful! This Aspen Frost mini quilt was created to be part of this blog hop and a Christmas present. If you would like to know more about when I was makingit, what I didn't tell you was it was for this "Snowman Skating Rink". A gift for someone who also loves Christmas! Then I made these two pillows out of fabric samples of Winterkist!
Which I just love! Hope you do too! Winterkist

Just a little purse for a girl

Image
We are off for a week to visit our oldest daughter at the beach! Our little David is excited to see his mother. Currently, she is the nanny for her best friends daughter, who turned 5 a few days ago. I chose to make up a paper pattern to follow. To show you how easy it is 4 fabrics and a homemade pattern.
The fabric is Lecien - lovely Punch Girls, given to me by a very nice woman, Mary from the WVMQG. Sample fabric packs only has one piece of each print. So each part of this little purse is a different. I used a tiny magnetic snap. Which I deconstructed off a purse last month! Recycle! I am hoping she will like it! What little girl doesn't like Panda's? Just in case I but $5 in the change purse I made to go with it. Have a great week everyone! I am going to no WiFi land so possible no posts, mail anything until Monday.

Until next time, create and be unique, Lisa
