You can win great prizes by simply visiting the blogs and leaving a comment! Then do the Rafflecopter!Marian told me I could write about anything. I am Lisa and I quilt and do a bunch of other crafty things in a rural area in West Virginia. I learned to sew after an accident left me disabled and unemployed. Having worked since I was 14 years old doing nothing was not an option. I could not work or drive but I needed something in my life to do. I have physical and mental issue to deal with during this time. A woman, the owner, with a lot of patience at a local quilt store took the time and a lot of effort to teach me the basics of how to use a sewing machine and quilt. Without Michelle and her staff at WV Quilt: Barboursville WV, I would never have learned. I am so grateful to the…

He has created everything
from scrapbooking paper, ink, to fabric!
So once I started sewing and realized
he was designing fabric
I bought a 10" layer cake of Eclectic Elements and kept it.
I knew one day I would make something
for my husband or grandson.
It is a unisex fabric making it great for boys and men.

When Nicki contacted me about this blog hop
I just had to say "YES"!
Then I started thinking what could I make
my guys for Valentines Day!
It has to be useful so it doesn't get tossed
into a drawer, never to be seen again!

Thank you Nicki @
Sunshine Reflections

A Perfect Picnic Blog Hop

Image
Hello Everyone!

Welcome to In The Boon Docks, I am Lisa, today is
day 5 of the hop and our day for a picnic! Well by now you have seen some pretty nice picnics
and beautiful quilts!

Lately our lives are a bit turned upside down!
Sewing is a passion for me,
I love it and blog hops
but responsibility to family always comes first.

It is easy to plan a perfect picnic
But when you mix life into it
Anything goes

I think I covered all the requirements with the help
of our Grandkids and a great Giveaway!

(Hopefully Madam Samm @ Sew We Quilt and
Mary @ I Piece 2 - Mary
will laugh at our perfect picnic)!
Without them we wouldn't have had this great blog hop
so thank you both for all your planning and hard work!

Most important for the "Perfect Picnic"
Is entertainment
Kids love water
David enjoy teaching Zoey
Slip and slide

(She mostly sat and got sprayed)
Very entertaining for her! Have a picnic basket!
(It looks pretty good for being 20 years old) Have a menu!
(For two kids the best menu is always…
