In The Boon Docks Welcome Everyone to the May 2014 Blogger's Festival It's time for another Blogger's Quilt Festival. This is an online event hosted by Amy at Amy's Creative Side once in the fall and once in the spring. It's a lot of fun to see the beautiful quilts that fellow bloggers choose to feature. I love visiting as many of the blogs as possible to get a feel for quilting trends and styles. I appreciate all the hard work Amy puts in to do this for the Bloggers. I hope you enjoy my entry this year "Russian Stars". My inspiration for this quilt came while watching the Olympics this Winter I was impressed and inspired by the opening show with every color imaginable whirling around and flying through the air. I was ecstatic when April Cobb , Owner of Modern Yardage, chose Mary Tanana to be a Featured Fabric Designer for this quilt. Giving me the opportunity to choose from her Folky Dokey Collection .
