You can signup as a Individual Member and
join the thousands of us from around the World!

We have all the rights of guilds member
and connect through the MQG Forum.

Challenges are made and many items are being worked on for charities.

The challenges by fabric companies are available to you.

These were deciding factors that I joined.
The cost of membership is pretty much covered by one less trip to the fabric store.

Is just a step out my backdoor. I thought I would share a few pictures of out my backdoor. Not all the junk on the back porch, but the deer who eats on my hill in the morning. The little male hummingbird who guards my feeder day and night. The have flying wars, you really have to watch out in the mornings and evenings. That is when they like to come by. QuiltCon Challenge Block

A couple months ago I won the QuiltCon Kona Cotton Solids FQ Set from Pink Chalk Fabrics it is still available for $18.95. I was very surprised when I won and knew then I would have to enter, I had no excuse! Plus, the Kona solids in this set are really beautiful together. The only fabric I added was the stripe of Kona Cotton Solid "Snow".

I challenge others in Blogland that are interested in the Modern Movement to create your one block and submit it before August 2012. Who knows it might end up on the QuiltCon Quilt or going to children who need to be kept warm next winter, either way you win the satisfaction that you tried it. There is also a Flickr site on the main page to look at all the blocks being submitted. This is my QuiltCon Challenge Block called "Fractured", I don't know if I should really name a block or not but this time I did. I got the idea for it from the Craftsy BOM.
