I am having problems linking with the Linky tool so I am trying to submit my photos.

The post before this one was my original entry and it describes my lessons learned. With no further waiting here are the photos of my iPad bag. It is bright and I love it made with lots of HST's.

The fabric I used is Fresh, Deb Strain, by Moda & Kona Solids

I am hoping now to link up with the Festival of Half Square Triangles at Canoe Ridge Creations

I hope you enjoy the festival and all the entries. Lots of beautiful things where created.

Enjoy Lisa

Tuesday Linky

I am going to the Linky Party over at Quilting By The River the button is on the right. There is always something fun over there on Tuesday's. Please join us and be inspired.

The Festival of Half Square Triangles is on to voting for the top ten. Which has some beautiful quilts to vote on. I am so pleased with myself because I got my entry done and posted. But I wanted to share what I got done with all of you!

The Festival of Half Squared Triangles Entry is finally done. I appreciate all the followers who gave their input to help me get the creative juices flowing. The comment made by a few was to just go "crazy", so my friends, I did. I hope you all like the final results! This is the front of my new iPad Bag! I just love the Zig Zag Revolution!! The beautiful back of sideways zig zags! Zig zag every way.

What I learned during this festival is:

1. It is easier to baste with this Than trying to put 100 pins in something to quilt it. 2. How to make a flap and bind around…

Design for Festival

Yes, I know it is very bright! I want attention, if you see this post please comment!I need advice from blogland! Can you see the two thread spools in this photo? Give my your honest opinion! Or do you like this one?

Well the Festival has began and I am already behind. I do have a bright idea, as you can see here:

"Fresh" by Deb Strain from Moda

It is not to late to join in the fun, you have until April 22, 2012, to post you creation over at festival of half square Triangles

Craftsy BOM blocks for April, block 1 completed. Hexagons by hand are impossible for me. I have difficulties sewing with my hands so I had to use my back up, my handy dandy sewing machine. I need to give her a name. But we will save that for another post.

I am helping out a friend and making a few of these Log Cabin Blocks for something she is working on. I know nothing about the fabrics except the solids are Robert Kaufman "Kona". My husband now wants a log cabin designed quilt for our bed.

Saturday was "Opening Day" around these parts for Little League Baseball. This is my little catcher at the bat. They grow up so fast, enjoy the time while it is here!

Saturday Morning, I decided to make these…

Mystery Winner

It is Tuesday and I am linking up to "Quilting by the River". The button is on the right. I tried to link up last week and I couldn't get the linky to work with my IPad. Pop-up blocker is turned off for this week, maybe I'll get attached?
I have experienced a lot of difficulty learning to use my IPad2. In two weeks, I have deleted my blog. Made posts full of mistakes and couldn't correct them. Camera and picture problems. If you know of helpful apps please let me know. It is an ongoing search for apps to improve your blogging experience.
Speaking of the iPad, it needed a padded bag to keep it safe from little hands when not in use. Here is what I did: I took two 10" squares from a Connecting Threads Layer Cake, some Kona scraps, and leftover batting. I just started sewing and this is what I came up with.

I practiced my straight line quilting with my walking foot. The best part "I made it myself". Don't you enjoy listening to the hum of t…

Inspiration can come from anywhere. I am getting in the car this morning and I saw this and just had to share:

I ripped it off the Arby's bag and took these pictures. I think this pattern would look so cute as a mug rug or a quilt. I am going to make something using this pattern. Richard over at Richard Quilts has a chair as his inspiration. Maybe we could play a quilt block game? I told Richard I would make a block of his inspiration. Would you make a block for mine? I would for others if they would for me, we could all swap them. Maybe I can get Lucy at Charm About You to make us a button.

Don't forget my Mystery Giveaway

Happy Tuesday, hope I am not to late!

I have worked on my Super Sized Hexagon Log Cabin, got the block all sewn together.

I went to the store and purchased the fabric, got home and guess what? It is the wrong color. So, later this week I will take my creation with me and find the right shade. Two trips to town in one week because I didn't THINK! Look boo hoo!

Lesson learned to match colors on a project, bring it or a color swatch with you to the store.

Here is an inspirational photo of a great pattern I saw this morning in the kitchen. David picked me this tulip the other day and it was opened this morning. Nature can really inspire me.

This giveaway is for followers! Of course anyone can be a follower just join us here "in the boon docks", and leave a reply to the question. The Prize is going to be something really good, I just don't know if I what (It is crazy around my house at Easter time). So, if you will just play along with me I will give a q…
